Clover Creek Elementary

Crossroads Church partners with a nearby elementary school throughout the year to serve in areas where help is needed. Our desire is to show the love of Jesus Christ through service to those in our neighborhood.

Each week, our Meals for Kids program provides a number of children in need with food to take home for the weekend. During school days, volunteers go into classrooms to assist teachers with tutoring students who can use additional help. In September, the Church helps prepare the school grounds for the year by trimming, cleaning up, and barking the landscape around the school with our annual Service Worship Sunday.

Freezing Nights

In partnership with other local churches in the Spanaway and Puyallup communities, Crossroads helps provide shelter, fellowship, and meals for up to 70 homeless guests on Saturday evening through early Sunday morning as part of the Freezing Nights coalition. The program begins each year in November and continues through the last Sunday of March.  See the following link to learn about Freezing Nights and how you can help:

Prayer Team

At the Father’s heart is this deep longing for His people to know Him, be loved by Him, and to love Him with all their hearts in return. (Jeremiah 31:3)

This is why we emphasize prayer in our personal lives and our community life together at Crossroads Church. Prayer is our gift, to be heard by Him and to hear Him speak to us. He never meant conversation with Him to be dry and boring, but to be meaningful and fruitful. May we always grow in our understanding and practice of prayer, falling deeper in love with our God.

Our Prayer Team has created several opportunities to learn and grow in prayer or to receive prayer support through this ministry:

    • Sunday morning prayer times before and after our service
    • Friday evening Concerts of Prayer, once a month
    • Tuesday morning Spanaway community prayer gathering, twice a month
    • In-home prayer team visit
    • Shared prayer needs and requests among prayer team members

Anew Ministry

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10

The exploitation of girls is not part of God’s plan for them. He wants his precious daughters to be honored, treasured, loved unconditionally, and filled with peace and joy —most importantly to know Him deeply.

Anew Ministry, through Youth for Christ, reaches out to endangered girls, 11-19 years old, with the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Anew offers respite, mentorship, classes, practical support, and resources in a safe and loving environment.
