Trusting Jesus

Jesus is the Messianic King promised in the Old Testament and the beloved Son of God revealed in the New Testament who came to earth as a servant, in human form.  He lived a sinless life and taught the availability of life in the Kingdom of God for all who would place their faith and trust in Him.  (Romans 1:3-4; Phil. 2:6-11)
By his death on a cross and resurrection from the dead, Jesus atoned for our sin and made it possible for  us to be right with God by grace, not by our good works. (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9)
On the cross Jesus also broke the dominion of sin and evil over us (Colossians 2:13-15).  We are able to live in him and for him right now, steadily growing into Christ-like character by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
Upon his return to earth Christ will complete what he has already begun; the renewal of the entire material creation and the resurrection of our bodies (Rom 8:18-21).
Place your confidence in Jesus.  Become his apprentice, his follower.  Jesus is our forgiver, healer, teacher, leader, and friend.
